Kyte Social, operated by Adverb Marketing Inc., gives every user a way to request deletion of their personal information, including any data we have obtained from connected social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Threads. You may request deletion regardless of where you live.
How to request deletion
You can have your data deleted in any of the following ways:
- Disconnect a social media account. In the Service, open your workspace settings and disconnect the relevant account. When you disconnect, we delete the data obtained from that platform and revoke and delete the associated access tokens.
- Delete your account. From your account settings, close your account. We delete your account and content data in accordance with the retention periods in our Privacy Policy.
- Email us. Send a request to hello@kytesocial.ai with the subject line "Data Deletion Request." Tell us which data or connected account you want deleted. We may need to verify your identity before acting on the request.
What happens after a request
Upon a verified request, we delete the relevant personal information — and require our service providers to delete it — except where retention is required by law (for example, financial and billing records retained to meet Canadian tax and accounting obligations). Social media platform data and access tokens are deleted promptly when you disconnect the relevant account or close your account.
Backups are purged on a rolling cycle. Aggregated or anonymized data that can no longer be associated with you may be retained.
