Connect your social accounts
Add a platform to the right workspace, grant permissions and reconnect when access expires.
Start in the right workspace
- Open the workspace for the brand whose account you want to connect.
- Open Workspace settings, then Connected accounts.
- Choose Connect beside the platform. If Kyte offers more than one connection method, choose the one that fits your account.
- Sign in in the platform window and grant the requested permissions. Select the Page, profile or channel when prompted.
- Return to Kyte and check that the account shows as Connected.
Check the account and permissions
Kyte publishes to Instagram, Facebook, Threads, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, X and YouTube. The formats and inbox features vary by platform and connection method. Facebook connects Pages, and Instagram requires a professional account.
You need permission to connect accounts in that workspace. If the control is unavailable, ask your team owner or admin to check your access.
When an account needs attention
Choose Reconnect if Kyte asks you to renew access. A read-only connection may import data but still need another authorization before it can publish. Reconnect to enable publishing when that message appears.
Disconnecting is different from reconnecting. Check which workspace you are in before changing an account's connection.
