Import a Canva design
Bring a design into the workspace media library as an image or video export.
Connect and choose a design
- In the post editor, open Add media and choose Import from Canva.
- Choose Connect Canva when prompted, then complete authorization in the Canva window.
- Browse your designs or search for the design you want.
- Choose PNG or MP4, then use Import as PNG or Import as MP4 to bring the file into the workspace.
Wait for the export
Kyte requests an export from Canva and imports the resulting file into the workspace's media library. The picker offers PNG and MP4 exports. The formats available for a design depend on the design itself.
Exporting can take a moment. If it fails, check the message and retry after confirming the Canva connection still has access to the design.
Check the file before publishing
The imported file is a media asset in Kyte. It is not a live Canva document, so later edits in Canva do not change the file you already imported.
Preview the result and make sure the image or video fits the platform and format you selected for your post.
